Innovation for Automation Announces Expansion to Second Building

Grand Rapids, Michigan – Innovation for Automation, a sister company to Morrison Industries, focused on the design, installation, and support of automated systems to quickly move items between points of storage, assembly, processing, and shipping; through the use of conveyers, transfer mechanisms, and automatic guided vehicles is excited to announce its expansion to a second building in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Commencing in February of 2022, Innovation for Automation has experienced exponential growth in the material handling industry. This strategic move reflects the company's commitment to growth and the increasing demand for Automated Guided Vehicles and Material Handling Systems.

The new facility, located at 3529 Patterson Ave SE, boasting 20,000 SQ feet. With this expansion, Innovation for Automation aims to increase production capacity, as well as expand the workforce. Totaling 2 buildings and 40,000 SQ feet, Innovation for Automation is making significant strides to pave the way for automation technologies while gaining the ability to be more efficient, in a growing market.

In 2023 Grand View reported “The global automated material handling (AMH) equipment market size was valued at USD 57.15 billion in 2022 and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.4% from 2023 to 2030. The growing need for automation in various industries drives the AMH equipment market.” Due to the nature of the market, Innovation for Automations goal is to increase the supply of this equipment, while keeping the integrity of the product as well as keeping the ever-changing technology at its most innovative point.
